Amy and Eric's journey began in 2008. Amy, a registered veterinary technician, has a lifelong dedication to animal welfare. Eric, a versatile craftsman, combines his passion for tinkering and education with a deep love for agriculture.

From the start, Eric embraced Amy's commitment to animals, and farm life became their natural calling. Only by Gods divine plan, Boekel Farms was established.

On the farm, Amy discovered a passion for dairy animals. Her love for milking goats quickly turned into a creative venture: crafting handmade goat's milk soaps. This passion has expanded to include a herd of dairy cows. Eric’s focus on agriculture and hay production perfectly complements Amy’s growing interests.

Then there are Maeve and Emeric—the farm’s resident 'feral' duo. Whether they are scaling fences, hitching rides on the tractor, or discovering the world through a layer of dirt, they live for the freedom of the fields and the magic of a life outdoors.

Beyond the farm animals, Amy is devoted to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi breed. Following a heartbreaking experience with "Todd," her first Corgi who suffered from severe genetic issues, she is committed to breeding healthy, genetically tested, and sound dogs.
